Oh, I'm dying to see if this one crosses the pond. In the old days, our kids had the Scholastic book club catalogue. Today, my darlings came home with Scholastic 'Click' - pages of DS, PC and Wii games to buy. Hmm, granted it doesn't have Grand Theft Auto in it, but I'm dubious of the educational benefit of Spongebob Squarepants or NFL.
Have book clubs gone too far? Can parents really afford to spend out on games like these regularly?
